Natural Colored Diamonds and Values
Colored diamond value and price should probably be shared when talking about high end colored diamonds. Probably the most famous colored diamond is the Hope Diamond (photo - right) which is at the Smithsonian Institute. Since it cannot be purchased, one would have to speak about an estimate "value" and we haven't a clue at its value.
Don't expect to trot into your neighborhood jewelry mall and score a high end colored diamond. The really good colored diamonds that are larger than mille are more than likely to be available only at auction. And the large stones in desirable colors will be sought after by serious collectors or top jewelers.
